Itinerary
Day 1: A Scenic Journey to the Medley of Wonders
Your safari begins with a comfortable 8:00 AM pickup from your designated location. We will embark on a scenic drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, a journey that takes you west through Uganda's lush countryside.

Journey Highlights: The drive itself is a captivating experience. We will make a brief stop in the town of Mubende for a coffee break and a chance to stretch our legs. Continuing through the picturesque landscape, our journey takes us to the charming town of Fort Portal, where you will enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant with views of the Rwenzori Mountains.

Katwe Salt Lakes: Upon entering the park, if time allows, we will visit the Katwe-Kabatoro salt lakes. You'll witness the traditional and time-honored practice of salt mining and learn about its cultural significance, all while spotting various bird species, including graceful flamingos.

First Game Drive: Your first taste of the wild comes with a short game drive as we make our way to the lodge. You’ll be on the lookout for your first wildlife sightings before checking in, relaxing, and preparing for the thrilling days ahead.

Day 2: The Heart of the Savanna & Kazinga Channel
Rise early for a day packed with iconic safari experiences. The dawn is the most active time for wildlife, and we'll take full advantage of it.

Sunrise Game Drive: At 6:00 AM, we will set off on a thrilling game drive in the park's famous savanna plains. Our expert guide will navigate the best wildlife tracks as you search for the park’s remarkable inhabitants. Expect to encounter majestic herds of African elephants and buffaloes, graceful Uganda kobs, and with a bit of luck, the park’s renowned predators such as lions and even the elusive leopards.

The Kazinga Channel Boat Safari: After returning to the lodge for a hearty lunch and a brief rest, you’ll head out for an unforgettable afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. This 32-kilometer natural waterway connects Lake George and Lake Edward and is a magnet for wildlife. This 2-3 hour safari offers an unparalleled opportunity for up-close photography of a spectacular concentration of wildlife: vast numbers of hippos, powerful Nile crocodiles, and hundreds of bird species.

Day 3: The Valley of Apes & Farewell Journey
Sadly, today marks the end of your adventure. After a final breakfast, we will check out of the lodge and prepare for our return journey.

Kyambura Gorge Exploration: Our final highlight is a visit to the spectacular Kyambura Gorge, known as the "Valley of Apes." This stunning rift valley gorge is a sight to behold, with its lush vegetation and dramatic scenery. You will learn about its unique geology and the possibility of spotting its small community of chimpanzees from a safe distance. We will also visit the nearby scenic Twin Crater Lakes.

Return Journey: We will then begin the return journey to Entebbe, with comfortable stopovers for lunch and sightseeing en route. We anticipate arriving in Entebbe in the evening, where you will be dropped off at your accommodation or at Entebbe International Airport, filled with incredible memories of your Queen Elizabeth National Park adventure.
